Guess what's coming my way??? A new 50mm 1.4, Yay! It's supposed to be delivered sometime today; which is particularly awesome since I just sold my 50mm 1.8 and old Rebel XT to pay for our house inspection.
I'm a bad bad 365'er. I've been busy... doing what? you ask. Buying a house of course! Yep, we looked at a few houses on Saturday and made our offer on Sunday, and it was accepted.
Our very own Shoe House.
And this quick shot of child #1. I wasn't trying at all, just pointed it at him. I think it's cute, though way OOF.
Happy Birthday to my littlest Princess! I'm SO sad it's OOF... darn 1.8. It took a good 15 minutes to get 2 decent shots of her, every time I'd get into position and get the focus locked she'd start crawling away again.
1/320, f/1.8, ISO 160
And her 12 month photo, I've taken a shot of her with this lamb on the 18th of every month.
The PP is kinda wonky, I was trying to minimize the lamb's blown-ness.
I wish his hair wasn't in his eyes =*(, he looked at me for a split second and this is what I got. Notice anything? It's outside! That's right, it's 71* today. Too bad it's Springtime in Nebraska and it's muddy from the snowmelt. I'll take what I can get.
The best I could do... no one was cooperating and it's a bit gloomy outside. He's wearing his prized "Crabby Shirt", he LOVES crabs on clothing... silly boy.
All of the pictures are clickable... a bigger version is available that way.
I feel like my photography has gotten good enough to try one of these. Granted I'm no where near "GOOD" I feel like I'm better than the average "point and shoot" photographer.
And so begins my journey in photographs.
They will generally be of my children, I have 4 to choose from.
